(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation are attending the 43rd ASEAN Summit and related meetings in Jakarta, Indonesia, from September 4-7. At the meetings, Prime Minister Chinh is sharing Vietnam's perspectives and proposing initiatives for cooperation in many areas, following the theme “ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth” and promoting a united and strong ASEAN Community with an increasingly important role and position in the world.

Vietnam – a potential destination for FDI investors and foreign tourists

(VOVWORLD) - The General Statistics Office reported that as of mid-August this year, the total registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam reached over 18 billion USD, up 8.2% over the same period last year. In addition, July was the first month Vietnam has welcomed more than 1 million foreign arrivals since the reopening post-COVID last March. These figures show that Vietnam is a potential destination for foreign investors and international tourists.

Egypt keen on strengthening relations with Vietnam in all fields: Egyptian Ambassador

(VOVWORLD) - Egypt was the first country in Africa-Middle East to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam in 1963. Throughout the period, bilateral relations have developed substantially in all fields, from politics to diplomacy, economy, culture and people-to-people exchanges. To mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties on September 1 this year, Egyptian Ambassador to Vietnam, Amal Abdel Kader Elmorsi Salama, granted VOV an interview, sharing her opinions on the development of bilateral relationship with focus on prospects for future cooperation.

(VOVWORLD) - The Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on cultural and national development in the 2021-2030 period emphasizes "comprehensive human development and building an advanced Vietnamese culture embracing national identity, to make culture an endogenous strength, a driving force for national development and national defense”. To realize the resolution, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is urgently completing the National Target Program on revitalizing and developing culture and building Vietnamese people in the 2025-2030 period, with a vision to 2045.
