Contemporary art space at the National Assembly House

(VOVWORLD) - 22 artistic works by 15 contemporary artists are being displayed at the basement of the National Assembly building in Hanoi.

The multi-material works are displayed along the 500-meter-long tunnel of the National Assembly House.

The lacquer paintings, graphic works, installation works, sculptures, and brass engraved statues illustrate a new perspective of contemporary art on traditional culture, architecture, and art.

Large-sized works turn the basement of the National Assembly House into an art museum.

15 artists and more than 100 technical assistants and skilled workers from craft villages in Hanoi, Thai Binh and Thua Thien – Hue province, worked hard for 3 months to complete the works.
