Hanoi covered in festive decorations to celebrate Tet

(VOVWORLD) - Streets throughout Hanoi can be seen bearing incredible festive decorations such as colourful national flags, flowers, and numerous slogans as a way of celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year and the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which was observed on February 3, 1930.

The banks of Ho Guom, also known as Sword Lake, can be seen decorated with large peach petals.
With peach trees dotted around Ho Guom serving as perfect festive decorations, the area has quickly become an ideal place for local residents and tourists to snap incredible images.
Huge mice-shaped statues can be seen placed directly in front of Trang Tien Plaza on Hang Bai street.
