The event was co-organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology, STEAM for Vietnam, AI for Vietnam, the US Embassy in Vietnam, and Meta.
AI Day was designed as a forum that connects the AI community in Vietnam, bringing together policymakers, education leaders, technology companies, and experts to share strategic perspectives, practical experience, and initiatives that leverage AI for socio-economic development, and connect other people interested in AI to discuss the potential applications of this technology and its impact on socio-economic life.
Vietnam ranks 3rd globally in AI trust and 5th in AI adoption, and attracted 80 million USD in AI investment in 2025. Vietnam’s National AI Strategy 2030 aims to place it among the top 3 countries in Southeast Asia for AI research.
