According to the newly released decree, the obligations do not apply to individuals who are unable to be vaccinated for health reasons, with a health certificate issued by a health official.

In a message sent nationwide on Saturday, Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that Cambodia will receive additional 8 million COVID-19 vaccine doses as planned from now to the end of this year.

Cambodia has given inoculations against COVID-19 for nearly 680,000 people and nearly 217,000 military personnel of the total population of 16.9 million.

Cambodia now has 4,238 COVID-19 infections, 2,152 of them have been declared clear to the virus. 29 others have been reported dead.
