This is the highest credit growth since 2020, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Doan Thai Son said at the September government press conference in Hanoi on Sunday.

“The State Bank will implement coordinated solutions, including credit management in line with macroeconomic developments, meeting credit capital needs and the economy's capital absorption capacity," Mr. Son said.

Credit institutions will be directed to grow credit safely and effectively and credits will be channeled to production and business, priority sectors, and economic growth drivers, he noted. “Risks will be strictly controlled while the implementation of credit programs that match the policies of the Government and the Prime Minister will be promoted.”
