Japan eases travel curbs for Vietnam and seven other countries

(VOVWORLD) - Japan has lowered travel advisories for eight countries, including Vietnam, China, and China’s Taiwan as coronavirus infections are slowing there, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said Friday.

The decision was made as part of Japan’s efforts to revive its economy while preventing the spread of the pandemic.
Japan previously issued a Level 3 alert warning citizens against overseas travel.
