Vietnam enters day 44 with no community transmissions of COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has been free from domestic coronavirus infections for 44 days in a row as no new cases were reported Friday morning.

Total infections now stand at 1,124 after 2 imported cases were added Thursday night, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

1,030 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have recovered and 35 have died.
