(VOVWORLD) - As part of his State visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and participation in celebrations marking the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Party General Secretary To Lam on Thursday visited Kyongsang Kindergarten and the classroom named after President Ho Chi Minh.

Kyongsang Kindergarten is known as one of the DPRK’s leading institutions for nurturing artistic talents and serves as a national model for early childhood education. In 2013, the school established the “President Ho Chi Minh” classroom, where students learn about Vietnamese culture and traditions. The classroom has since become a vivid symbol of the friendship and cultural exchange between Vietnam and the DPRK.

Also on Thursday, Party General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended and enjoyed a special art performance celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
