Hon Dat women help each other in economic development

(VOVworld) – With the biggest natural land area in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang, Hon Dat district is home to Kinh, Khmer, and Chinese ethnic groups. During the national resistance war, Hon Dat was famous for its revolutionary tradition and as the native land of sister Su, the main character of a novel by writer Anh Duc. Women in the district and the local Women’s Association have worked together for poverty reduction and economic development.

Clearing UXOs from Quang Tri province

(VOVworld) – The Legacies of War Coordination Center established in January in Quang Tri province has developed a coordinated response mechanism for removing unexploded ordinance that still remain 40 years after the war. Initial outcomes of satellite hospital project

Repatriation of soldiers’ remains in Dong Nai province

(VOVworld) – The war ended 4 decades ago but the parents, wives, children, and brothers of more than 500,000 martyrs still anguish because their relatives’ remains haven’t returned home. VOV’s Manh Phuong visited a military unit in Dong Nai province that searches for the remains of fallen comrades.
