They now provide enough farm produce for the city’s residents and have helped thousands of local farmers escape poverty.

A Ba Na girl in a remote village in Gia Lai province has changed traditional farming by undertaking a project to grow medicinal herbs using advanced technology. Taking advantage of available resources, changing ways of thinking and doing, and applying technical advances are helping the locals develop their economy.
(VOVWORLD) - Village wells, together with banyan trees, communal houses, and river wharves, are symbols of Vietnam’s northern villages. A village well not only provides water for the villagers’ daily use but is also a link of heaven and earth. Although many Vietnamese villages now have water piped into every home, the village well is still being used in many localities.
(VOVWORLD) - The worship of progenitors, a fundamental tradition of Vietnamese craft villages, expresses villagers’ gratitude for those who created jobs for locals. Through the worship, villagers hope to further develop the craft and have a prosperous and happy life. Every year, death anniversaries of village founders are held.

(VOVWORLD) - Every year on the 13th day of the first lunar month, a pig procession festival is held in La Phu village, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi, to commemorate the Great Holy Tam Lang, a talented general in the 6th King Hung Due Vuong, who fought to bring peace to the nation.
